Who will be sitting in the Oval Office on the evening of January 20th 2025?
In professional sports, such as basketball or football, there always seems to be a star slowly emerging, and patiently waiting to carry the league on their back for the next 12 to 15 years. This certain type of individual not only possesses a rare athletic talent, but has a unique charisma about themselves which draws many fans to attend their games, purchase their jerseys, buy their sneakers, and defend their every action, whether on the field or off the field.
Unlike sports, the game of politics seems to be stuck in a whirlwind with the same old politicians resurfacing every few years until the recent shocking withdrawal of President Joe Biden in the 2024 elections. With President Biden gracefully stepping down, the door is left completely wide open for Vice-President Kamala Harris to become not only the first female president, but the first African American, Asian female president.
After setting a record of $81 million dollars for the most donations within a 24-hour period, there is still a tall task ahead of the current vice-president due to the fierce and resilient former President, Donald J. Trump standing in the way. At this current moment, everything seems to be wide open, and who knows, we may very well see other fellow democrats come out of the woodwork to place their bid to become the next President of the United States. What we do know is that whoever becomes the presumptive democratic nominee must be prepared for the onslaught headed their way from the Republican Party. The former president must demonstrate self-control, maturity, and wisdom if he wants to find himself sitting back at the wooden Resolute desk in the Oval Office.
Nonetheless, America will again be on the edge of their sofas, or perhaps comfortably laid back on their mattress on the evening of November 5th in pure anticipation of waiting for the results. For those of you who have a certain curfew that you need to oblige by or other obligations, and commitments that need to be met, and would rather have a full night’s rest, you will ultimately wake up in the morning to either a pleasant surprise or a disappointing outcome. Regardless if you’re a democrat, independent, or republican, the question that will continue to remain on America’s minds from now until Tuesday, November 5th is, ………………..who will be sitting in the Oval Office on the evening of January 20th 2025?
